Good Smile Racing & Team UKYO Racing Miku 2016 SQ Figure Unboxing

DID I STUTTER?

For real though, here’s that second post this week like I promised. ╭(♡・ㅂ・)و ̑̑

miku-figure-title

Let me tell you about how I found this figure!!!! Anthony told me about a local comic book store that also carried manga and figures near the IKEA I go to. There just so happened to be a day where I had to go to IKEA and we decided to kill some time at the comic book store he mentioned. LOAD AND BEHOLD MY GOOD READERS; the precious figure was just sitting on a shelf…staring at me in all of it’s glory. And needless to say…I bought it.

miku-figure-box

Shall we begin with the box? The box art is so ridiculously lovely and for some reason the partial color gives it (and me) a lot more life. ˚✧₊⁎( ˘ω˘ )⁎⁺˳✧༚ The side art features the same artwork as the front but full scale. The other side features the name of the item. On the side; lots of tape, bubble and plastic wrap, and cardboard. This figure it so snug and protected, I love it.

miku-figure-assemble

Every necessary part of the figure was wrapped in it’s own little plastic and a pain to open. However, assembling the figure was actually quite easy and not to strenuous. The only difficult part I recall was inserting the hand, but that only took like a minute I believe.

miku-figure

Let me be honest; this figure it gorgeous. With any Hatsune Miku figures, my main focus of detail is on the hair and oh my gosh it’s there. It does appear that because the hair has a few individual strands; they may break though the figure itself is plastic. The dress is painted wonderfully and the sponsors on the back are perfect with little to no error. The only issue I have with this figure is the feet; it looks as though the paint will cheap easier which kind of makes me a little “meh,” but not enough to regret purchasing her.

Overall; this figure was a good buy for only $35 though I could’ve purchased it cheaper elsewhere having done my research. She’s made a lovely edition to my figure collection and overall Vocaloid collection. If you are interested in purchasing; I found her for $20 on Amazon! Here is the link! Anyways, that wraps it up for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed and I shall see you next time~! (°◡°♡).:。

Love Live! Nishikino Maki “Sunny Day Song” SPM Figure Unboxing

Hello~!

I accidentally took too long in posting again…crap. (╬ ꒪Д꒪)ノ I’m sorry guys; I let time get the best of me again. But I’ll have two posts this week so there’s a plus! Anyways, I couple weeks ago I was able to get my hands on a wonderfully adorable figure of my Love Live! bias and I took pictures of me opening it. TA-DA.

love-live-figure-title

Ah, yes. My main bae; Nishikino Maki. The store I go to for many things Korean and Japanese started carrying LEGIT (I emphasize this because some of the stores in California carried awful fakes…) figures and goods and when I saw her, I just couldn’t walk away without her. The weeb in me was let out in full force as I rushed to the check out counter. (⁎⁍̴̀﹃ ⁍̴́⁎)♡ It was a beautiful moment.

love-live-figure-box

Let’s begin with the box and what not. The box art itself is quite cute although not entirely my aesthetic to be honest. The front of the box features the figure with Maki posed and in position. The side art features of profile view of Maki from the anime. The back of the box had information that wasn’t exactly necessary for pictures. The inside of the box had Maki nicely wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard.

love-live-figure-assemble

This what she looked like after being removed from said box. If I remember correctly; assembling her took a little bit of work because although it’s literally two pieces…the holes where you insert the tags in her feet weren’t cooperating and I couldn’t get both in at the same time. HOWEVER. I somehow managed to do it and I can’t even remember how. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

love-live-figure

After assembling her; I was awestruck at the amount of details. The pleats and folds are what got me the most. She’s a sturdy figure for sure which is good especially if you’re clumsy like myself. (๑•́‧̫•̀๑) I think the item I love most about her is the transparent fabric over her skirt which they did so beautifully.  It really made me love the figure just a tad more.

Overall; it was definitely worth the amount of money I spent which I recall was about $35 but I could be mistaken. If you’d like to purchase the doll, I found it on Amazon for $27! Here is the link! This is a great item for anyone who loves Love Live! or just Nishikino Maki. Definitely a good purchase. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Like I said; another post is on the way this week so please be on the look out. Also, I have a trip to Charleston coming up again so if you’d like to see a blog post or a vlog, please let me know in the comments down below. With that said I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week! I’ll see you next time~!!!

Pretty Guardians – Sailor Moon Fan Club – Make Up Lip Gloss Unboxing + Video

Hello my Lovely Pretty Guardians!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas yesterday! Mine was quite lovely and relaxing, thank goodness. Did you spend time with family or get some really great gifts or have any stories? I’d love to hear from you all in the comments down below! ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡

Anyways, the day after coming home from California, I went to pick up a package and was happy to see it was from Tokyo Otaku Mode which meant my Sailor Moon Fan Club package arrived!! So I did an unboxing photo shoot and video for you all. I hope you enjoy!

sailor-moon-title

The package came with a certificate featuring the official fan club card along with a member exclusive lip gloss brooch based off the original manga and Sailor Moon Crystal brooch. Needless to say; I felt even more like a Moon Princess when I opened up the package. (⺣◡⺣)♡*

WATCH THE VIDEO

sailor-moon-box

The box is incredibly gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing. It’s rather small and deceiving in terms of weight; it’s heavier than it appears which isn’t bad at all. The back has detailed information regarding the lip gloss. I’m very pleased with the packaging and have it displayed with the certificate.

sailor-moon-brooch

Let me tell you; I didn’t have high expectations when it came to this lip gloss. It’s not because I lack faith in the company…but rather I’ve rarely purchased make up over the internet. So when I opened the box and held the brooch, I was happily surprised at the quality. It’s quite heavy in your hands and the “jewels” look very sturdy and won’t fall out any time soon. The back is nice and clean with a tiny sticker displaying minimal information. It brings back a lot of nostalgia and happiness from my childhood of reading the manga and watching the anime.

sailor-moon-test

When opening up the brooch, you’re greeted with a lovely pastel pink colored gloss and a tiny mirror that I’d probably get little to no use out of. The lip gloss doesn’t have much a scent to it which is perfectly okay for me as I tend to have super sensitive skin. There isn’t really any tint to it also which is also fine with me. It does appear to give a very moisturized cover, so this may be appealing to those who prefer a shinier lip cover rather than matte.

Overall, I’m in love with this item. As a long time Sailor Moon fan, being a part of the Fan Club brings me so much joy and to have a chance to own items such as this is incredible and nostalgic to me. I’m thankful for the opportunity TOM brought to overseas fans to be a part of such a wonderful club. ٩(๑∂▿∂๑)۶♡

I hope you all enjoyed today’s post! I’m hoping to have either a new year’s post or a December favorites post by next week, so please be on the look out for that on the blog. I’m also hoping to have a Christmas Haul unboxing video on the YouTube channel by tomorrow! Have a wonderful last week of 2016 and I will see you next time!

「ラブライブ!The School Idol Movie -Premium Edition-」Unboxing + Video

Long time, no see!

I can’t believe there’s only 16 days left until our anniversary trip to California. There’s so much I want to do and see and show you guys! I’m still unsure whether to vlog the trip or just take photos and share on the blog…maybe both? I have to find the vlog camera though. σ(´し_`〃)ゞ

Anyways, this weekend was a bit fun! We stopped by Annandale for a card show and a local anime shop for kicks and giggles. Let me tell ya’ll…so much worth omg. I ended up finding this jewel to expand my small and tiny Love Live! collection for only $48. BLESS.

love-live-title

YAAAAAAAS! Ya girl got her hands on the Premium Edition of the “Love Live! The School Idol Movie” Premium Edition Box Set! I had an immediate moment of feels when I saw this in the store. As much as I love Aquors, μ’s will forever live in my heart as the ultimate Love Live! Ahhhhh. Plus, I haven’t even seen the full movie yet so this will definitely be a big help. ꒰⌗´͈ ᵕ ॣ`͈⌗꒱৩

love-live-box

So the box is simply adorable but rather large…I’m hoping it’ll fit into my shelves no problem but I’m hesitant to try. The artwork is gorgeous on both sides and the checkerboard pattern with the scribbles is simply too cute to resist.

love-live-dvd

Inside of the box lies a DVD that is…not as catchy as the actual box is unfortunately. I guess I expected something a bit more fun and detailed, but meh. I love the “Angelic Angel” costumes however, seeing as how it’s one of my favorite songs. And my apologies, that’s a freakin’ blu-ray disc. AHAHAHAHAHA. Thank goodness for my PS4. ╮( ꒪౪꒪)╭

love-live-book

Finally is the Music Notebook. This is really quite precious and I do love that every character has their own page and the outfit designs. It’s not as thick as it appears though? It’s quite lacking but you’ll also find all of the details for the freakin’ DVD in the freakin’ book which is a bit upsetting, for lack of a better word.

Overall, I’m really happy I found this and got for a relatively cheap price. Looking at the original price…I probably wouldn’t have bought it at all seeing as how it’s only a DVD and a book. But it is adorable and a great addition to my collection none the less!

And that’s about it for this post. I’m sorry the photos came out a bit meh; the lighting today wasn’t that great in my room but I wanted to film and post today so I hope it’s okay? If you have any questions about the Premium Edition or if you already have it and have seen the movie, comment down below! I try to reply as quickly as possible. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and until next time. ❤

【HSANHE Korilakkuma RELAXED BEAR】Unboxing & Assemble + Video

Well, hello there.

Last week I went ahead and bought my first Micro Block project from a local Korean store that I’ve mentioned here on the blog before and it was definitely a challenge.

I’m not very familiar with building things aside from perler bead designs but this was too cute not to build and I though it would make a fun post and video combo. (ꐦ ´͈ ᗨ `͈ )

KORILAKKUMA

For those of you unaware; I love Korilakkuma and I love tea/coffee so Korilakkuma in a coffee cup was the most adorable thing I’ve seen and I immediately needed it in my life whether or not I had to build it. UNFORTUNATELY, I decided this would be a great idea to start building late at night…with an 8GB memory card and half battery life on my camera. So, my video was kind of split into two days. (ꐦ°᷄д°᷅)

BLARGH

Anyways, the box comes with 308 super tiny micro blocks, a stand, and a tool to help pull apart blocks when they’re difficult or in tight spaces. It also comes with instructions that are kind of like IKEA except SO MUCH MORE TINIER. But after you get the main foundation of the bear and cup together, it becomes much easier.

Overall, this project took me about 2 hours maybe? I didn’t exactly keep track of time but it didn’t take quite as long as I had imagined.

I will be buying another set to film this weekend…maybe I’ll go with a Crayon Shin-Chan set? ʕ ͠° ʖ̫ °͠ ʔ

WATCH THE VIDEO HERE!

I hope you guys enjoy the video and blog post!

Let me know how you guys enjoy the format of today’s video; would you rather just see the product being assembled or watch me react to assembling the product?? Leave a comment down below with you thoughts! (๑꒪̇⌄꒪̇๑)

We Review: Omakase FINAL BOX Vocaloid Edition

Well hello hello!

How are you all doing today? I hope you’re well and rested and healthy!!!!! I am really feeling the exhaustion today, but I did do something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while…I GOT A NEW TATTOO!

JIRACHI

I absolutely adore it you guys. A huge thank you to Jon at Dark Horse Tattoo for taking me in last minute and doing a beautiful job in such a short amount of time! I don’t know what to name her though…I kind of want to call her Serendipity for some reason…but I don’t think that makes sense…(*´ェ`*) ANYWAYS…

I was able to get my hands on the final Omakase Subscription box which just so happened to be Vocaloid themed and I wanted to share my experience with you all as always.

DISCLAIMER: We were not asked nor sponsored by Viewster for this review. The subscription was paid for entirely by us. Thank you for your understanding.

Omakase Title

Let me just say; I am really impressed with this subscription box and it’s honestly a huge shame that this was the final release for Omakase. However, they went out with a BANG. I am glad to have subscribed although it was only for one box…(⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)゚

Omakase Belt

Let’s start off with this AMAZING piece of Cosplay gear! Say hello to the Rin and Len Omakase Exclusive Cosplay belt WITH a matching strap so you can cosplay Banana Son or Orange Daughter…YES I MADE NICKNAMES FOR THEM. I haven’t actually had a chance to wear them yet, but I am planning on wearing it to Miku Expo next month along with the tons of other gear I will be sporting…

Omakase Keychain

Look at this chubby little keychain. I LOVE IT. This is the Hatsune Miku Omakase Exclusive Squishable Plush Keychain! (That was a mouthful) It’s a very soft, fleece material and it’s really really adorable. I love how high quality this keychain is because I’ve been running into a lot of cheap products, so this was such a pleasant surprise!

Omakase Shirt

AHHHHHHH. The main reason I subscribed for this box. This gorgeous Hatsune Miku Omakase Exclusive t-shirt. It’s amazingly cute, colorful…and dare I say…Kawaii. This shirt is a really nice quality and very comfortable to wear but I ran into a slight issue with mine. When I subscribed for the box, I could’ve sworn they ask you for either a men’s or women’s t-shirt and what size you’d prefer. So when I ordered mine, I got a Ladies Large…but when I tried it on…it seemed to be a men’s large. ( ´•̥ו̥` ) So I guess it has to be used as a sleep shirt because it looks horribly big on me. Aside from the size issue, however, I really do love this shirt and wish I could wear it out.

Omakase Paper Goods

One way to a Taylor’s heart…ADD STICKERS TO YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BOXES. I really like stationary goods you guys. And it’s Vocaloid. #RIPME The stickers are really cute and pastel…plus LEN IS SLEEPING ON A BANANA. My heart. Along with the stickers were a Postcard/Menu providing details on all of the products you received and a cute comic book featuring adorable artwork from amazing artists like Kaiami!

Omakase Poster

And finally, we have the queen; MEIKO! Omakase dropped in a really accurate portrayal of MEIKO in poster form and I love it. It’s not a huge poster so it’ll fit in most spaces I assume. I’m not too sure if I’ll hang mine up since I’m not much of a drinker…but HEY! MEIKO is…hardy har har. ∗˚(* ˃̤൬˂̤ *)˚∗

And that’s the end. Honestly, this box was such a wonderful surprise and it sucks that Viewster will no longer continue the Omakase subscription service but I’m really happy that they were very loving towards to the final box with such amazing, high quality, and cute products. If you received any of the Omakase subscription boxes; what did you get and did you enjoy it? Let me know in the comments below! I’m going to call it night! So have a great rest of the weekend and have an awesome week you guys!

SimplyMe: My First D.C. Sakura Matsuri!

Hello guys!

Ahhhhh!!!! Why do I always take so long in between posts? (・д・`o) To be perfectly honest though, I have really found it hard to find any motivation. It’s not because of you guys though! You guys have been really awesome and patient. But there has been a lot of stuff happening at home and it’s hard to kind of hard to get myself back into the swing of things. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

ANYWAYS, I figured I’ll kind of share a fun day with you guys in an updated SimplyMe post.

Title Sakura Matsuri

So this past Saturday was Washington D.C.’s 56th Annual Sakura Matsuri Festival and my friend, Chami, invited me to go with her this year! I’ve been wanting to go for so long and I’ve been living in the area for like 9 years now? I was so excited and I definitely needed a pick-me-up after this past week. And holy goodness, we had a blast! Although…I’m 99% sure we have a slight fear of Metros now though…

Eating Sakura Matsuri

Before I start, we were well aware that we’d be stuffing our faces for most of the day so about 80% of the money we spent ended up going towards food and drinks. (Which is probably the best way to spend money in my opinion.) There were so many goodies to eat and snacks that we couldn’t get a full grasp of it all. But oh my gerd you guys, it was amazing. Here’s a little list of what I personally ate:

  • イチゴ持ち (Ichigo Mochi)
  • カレーライス (Curry Rice)
  • C. C. Lemon
  • ビーフおにぎり (Beef Onigiri)
  • 抹茶ボバティー (Bubble Green Tea)
  • たこ焼き (Tako Yaki)
  • Pocari Sweat
  • 抹茶チョコレート (Green Tea Chocolate)
  • Beard Papa’s シュークリーム (Cream Puff)

I think that about covers it…thinking back I feel like we ate more, but I could be wrong. But oh my gosh, it was so delicious. It was like being back in Japan for a quick moment; the takoyaki tasted so delicious and wasn’t overpowering with the fishy taste, the curry rice was better than anything I ever made, the onigiri was on point, and all of the green tea sweets just made my life. I’ve never felt so completed food wise. Take me back.

Doing Sakura Matsuri

You guys, when I saw the program for the matsuri, I DIDN’T EXPECT IT TO BE SO FREAKIN’ BIG. Oh my gosh. We did a lot of looking around; not really much shopping though we did manage to buy a few things. We found our way over to the NHK booth where you could take pictures with Domo and make a letter to yourself to put in a huge Domo time capsule. So we did…and then we were told that MOTHER FREAKIN’ SEBASTIAN MASUDA WAS IN TOWN AND MAKING AN APPEARANCE AT THE BOOTH.

For those of you who don’t know who Sebastian Masuda is; he has been Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s art director for one of her tours and a few of her music videos as well as the creator of the Kawaii Japanese brand, 6% DOKIDOKI. I’ve been a fan of his work (though you probably wouldn’t be able to tell…I can’t dress the way I want to due to work…) and when I was told we could meet him…I made it a mission to stay through the day.

AND I DID. I MET SEBASTIAN MASUDA. (But I was so nervous…all I could tell him was “Nice to meet you” and “Is it okay if we take a picture?”…) And a part of me was a little upset because I wished I had dressed up but I don’t have many of the clothes I had back in the day when I followed the Japanese fashion trend. Argh, ONE DAY WORLD, ONE DAY.

AHEM. Moving on.

We also got a chance to relax and watch a few performances on the Matsuri’s Jpop Stage including the incredibly talented and beautiful KuroPOP! They do a lot of dance covers and are currently on their SaKURO Tour! You all should go and check them out; they’re really funny and it was such a pleasure to meet them and now I’m regretting not asking for a picture. (I’m totally tempted to ask them for a Cyber Thunder Cider collab…OMG.)

Thank You Sakura Matsuri
Overall, we had such a great time and we are totally up for next year! If you went to D.C. Sakura Matsuri; let us know! Go ahead and comment down below with your thoughts and definitely let us know if you saw us. Next year I will be sure to take more pictures and maybe even vlog if I get really fancy with it. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Recent Purchase: I’m Going Miku Mad.

Hello awesome readers!

I am so sorry for the lack of posts lately… (•) I’ve been experiencing some health issues again and this month I’ve lack motivation to do a whole lot of anything except video games. So, to get me pumped, I thought I’d do something fun like a Recent Purchase post because this month I WENT BROKE. (∫°°)∫

miku mad

I have to admit guys…I have a spending problem. Well, actually I have a pre-order problem. But I promise, I’m saving for the wedding and honeymoon~! I guess my goals lately have been to expand my manga collection and there’s never anything wrong with a little Miku here and there and EVERYWHERE. (′ ))

promirai complete 1

promirai complete 2

I. Love. This. Item. SO MUCH. I originally heard about it on MikuFan and was a tad worried that there wouldn’t be a way for me to pre-order. ((゚□゚;)) But CDJapan had 25 copies available for pre-order at the time and I was able to purchase and finally receive it this month!

The complete set comes with the following: 5 CDs, 1 Blu-Ray DVD, 5 Stickers, a Miku Dayo mini magazine, Lyric Booklet, and a Petite Nendroid Miku Dayo Figurine.

Honestly, I am beyond thrilled with the item, the only issue I’d site with the product is that although there are five CDs…not every song that you see on Project Mirai is on the track listing. I was REALLY hoping for “Matryoshka”, but…I guess it was too much to ask~. (•́︿•̀)

promirai dx 1

promirai dx 2

IT FINALLY CAME. OMG. After a four month delay ONE WEEK PRIOR to the original release date…Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX finally came out and it’s everything I dreamed it would be. (˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

The game play is way easier than its Project Diva counterparts and much cuter with the adorable super deformed Nendroid bodies. It was also nice to get a Launch Special Pre-Order package. Granted; all you got was the game, 19 AR cards that are front and back, and a Hatsune Miku wallet chain…okay, let’s be honest! It was worth waiting 4 extra months for, but the thought was still nice.

hatsune miku graphics 2

This purchase was a bit on the spontaneous side. Anthony took me out to the bookstore because I’ve been a bit ill. As soon as I made my way to the manga section of Books A Million, I saw this large and pricey gem immediately and grabbed it. The book features many different artists and examples of their work and art style alongside costume modules from earlier Project Diva games. It’s a lovely addition to my Miku collection.

Himouto

I’m not too sure if any of you are familiar with my social media accounts…but lately I have been obsessed with the anima “Himouto! Umaru-Chan.” I have never related to anything so much in my life. I tried to see if there were any “legal” English translated versions of the manga (I’m not very fond of free manga reading sites anymore…) and there are none. NEXT BEST IDEA: Find the Japanese Manga. And I did…on JList.Com for like $7.50 a book. So cheap. So nice and cute to read. ˚₊⁎( ˘ω˘ )⁎⁺˳

manga

Honestly, these were kind of miscellaneous purchases from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Like I said earlier, I’ve been wanting to expand my manga collection and so lately I’ve been trying to complete as many Arina Tanemura series as possible and I’ve been wanting to read “Komomo Confiserie” since the release was announced. I’m very excited to read all of these. (۶ꎁꈨ )۶ʸᵉᵃʰᵎ

Well, that’s it for this post! I hope you all enjoyed it and let me know if you’ve purchased anything similar or are playing Project Mirai DX as well~! I’ll try and do a fashion post sometime in the next week or two as well as a possible Halloween Costume themed post? I’m not too sure. BUT LET ME KNOW! (ノ。≧◇≦)ノ I hope you all have a fantastic week and weekend, please take care of yourselves, and remember that you all are incredible and awesome!

The Geeky: 2014 Holiday Gift Guide

christmas

Why hello there everyone!

For the past two years I have done a quick holiday gift guide to help you shop for the geeks in your life! Today I’m following the annual tradition and this year’s guide is geared toward the ladies in your life. From jewelry to home decor, here are five items that make perfect and adorable gifts for your girl friend, female friend, maybe even your mom.

hatsune miku bag

Let’s face it, many ladies love purses and backpacks. Plus they make the perfect gift for the holidays.  If you have a Hello Kitty or Vocaloid fan in your life, this bag is definitely a must!  This is Hot Topic‘s “Hatsune Miku x Hello Kitty Hobo Bag” is reasonably priced and on sale for $14.63~! If you really want to fancy up a bag gift then stuff some fun or delicious things inside! It’ll be a cute surprise for the recipient!

luna p cushion

Who doesn’t like a little something to spruce up their living space?  With all of the Sailor Moon products being released this product is probably one of my favorites (that I have yet to purchase…)!  This product is JList‘s “Luna P Ball 1/1 Beads Cushion” it’s a wee bit expensive at $35 plus shipping, from Japan, BUT if your recipient is a huge Sailor Moon fan then this gift is beyond perfect. Also this product brings a ridiculous wave of nostalgia!

ack-bar tee

You can never go wrong with buying a T-shirt as a gift. It’s simple, cost effective and can make some feel as if though you know them all too well.  This year I have a shirt for ALL of you Star Wars nerds! Say hello to ThinkGeek‘s “Ack – Bar Ladies’ Tee” and it’s priced oh so lovely at $19.99. Who doesn’t love Admiral Ackbar and corny puns? Maybe with some added chocolate on this side this gift will surely be out of this world in a galaxy far, far away.

pikachu mug

This year has been the year of Pokemon, and, I am loving it. If your lady has bought it then she is rocking one of the new Pokemon ORAS games. Why not buy her a cute mug to drink hot chocolate or coffee from while they spend about 10 hours a day trying to collect all 8 gym badges and catch all of the legendaries? This mug is the Pokemon Center‘s “Pikachu Big Face Coffee Mug” and it goes for $14.95! You can place a hot chocolate packet with a candy cane and some popcorn inside side to spruce it up a bit! Tis an easy yet awesome gift, yes?

roam necklace

Ah, yes. Statement jewelry made a wonderful…statement…this year! And here is a clever statement for the Wanderlust laden lady in your life: ModCloth‘s “No Place Like Roam Necklace”! It’s slightly expensive at $29.99, but it’s sure to bring a smile to that wonderful lady’s face as she lets her eyes roam over the map set in the necklace itself! It’s a stunning gift that is sure to catch some glances and make them wander!

「なかよし」Cardcaptor Sakura Clutch Pouch Review

title pic

Hello, Hello!!!!
Happy Finals Week!!! Yes finals have been the cause for my rather long absence. It’s the end of a busy semester, for me, and after this week I am free! (Cue rather cliché angelic choir.) I have missed blogging, recently, so I thought I do a mini review on an adorable product I recently purchased. Let’s take a look shall we?

the product

I’ve recently been getting back into anime in my free time. More specifically Cardcaptor Sakura! I was quite a fan back in the day and I just can’t get enough of it lately. So when I saw that the latest issue of “Nakayoshi” had a Cardcaptor Sakura clutch purse included I ordered it! I went through CDJapan for this order and it arrived, after processing, within a week and a half.

outside

The pouch is double sided; one side is a pink, metallic material and the other is fabric  with a repeating pattern on the material. The metallic side has the Clamp logo stamped at the top near the zipper in grey ink. Unfortunately, in most light, it is difficult to see the logo and it looks cheaply stamped. The other side has a colorful pattern of Kero-chan, the Clamp logo, cherry blossoms and moons. I actually prefer this side since it has more color and you can make out the pattern rather than the dull grey ink.

inside

The inside also has two sides. The side with the fabric has a protective plastic covering that is to protect your belongings from rain I assume. The metallic side has a fabric covering.  As to how much it can hold, I’m just going to say a lot because the typical amount of things I tend to bring with me is low and small. This pouch looks better holding quite a few items and I don’t have enough to fill it quite yet.

Overall the pouch is ridiculously cute, however certain aspects seem a bit cheap. Though it is still a great pick up, especially, for fans of the series. It’s perfect for the magical girl fans out there, or the nostalgic CCS fans such as myself. Would I use this pouch in public? HECK YES!… if I had enough items to fill it. I would definitely recommend this product as it’s incredibly affordable plus you get to read a Japanese manga magazine along with it.
