Current Faves +August 2016+

Hello all!

I missed doing current favorites posts…actually, I miss posting in general. I’ve been going through a hefty writer’s block hence why I’ve been working on YouTube videos rather than writing. (。•́︿•̀。) However, I felt that this month had some lovely favorites that I wanted to share with you as we relax together during this Labor Day weekend.

+ Diamond/Micro/Nano Blocks +

In case you haven’t checked out the YouTube channel; I’ve really gotten into nano blocks…or was it diamond blocks…so many different names for tiny legos! Σ(-᷅_-᷄๑) I normally purchase mine at a local Korean shop in Annandale, but they do carry a few brands at Barnes and Noble. They’ve become rather theraputic for me and my anxiety but these can get a tad expensive depending on the brand. In terms of completing a build; it can take me anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, but I normally try and have snacks and tea on hand.

+ Exit Tunes presents EDM3 +

This freakin’ album is the epitome of #3Hype5Me. Earlier this year, I purchased the first EDM compilation album from Exit Tunes and I adored it. So when the cross fade for the third installment was released, I immediately went ahead and ordered it and I was far from disappointed. As of today, my favorite tracks from the album are “Satallite” and “ARTIFICIAL SKIN.” It may not be great music for relaxing but it does help me wake up in the morning on my way to work and keeps me sane during traffic hours.

+ Alex and Ani Bracelets +

There are two people to blame for my recent addiction to Alex and Ani; thanks Alex and Katie. I cannot tell you how this happened but I remember being so flipping excited to buy the Jellyfish bracelet from their “Under the Sea” charity collection…and the feeling is still the same when I buy another. My latest bracelet is the Unicorn charity bracelet and holy crap, it is too precious for words. I love the look of each one and the idea of revealing bits and pieces of my personality to people via each bracelet. The unfortunate part is that they are a tad expensive so collecting all of the ones I set my sights on will be rather difficult, but I’m in no rush.

+ Starbucks “You are Here” Mugs +

If you’re unaware, I thoroughly enjoy traveling. I love the process of leaving my home to go somewhere brand new and different. I have been noticing that I have a ridiculous addiction to Starbucks so if we go anywhere…I like to make sure there is a Starbucks nearby so I can get a latte or refresher when necessary. When we were in New York for Miku Expo, I thought…WHY NOT BUY A FRIGGIN’ STARBUCKS MUG AS A SOUVENIR RATHER THAN SOMETHING LOGICAL. And now here I am because I adore these mugs. I love the artwork and I love how large they are and to be honest, they’re only $13 which is not bad at all for a souvenir in NYC or other places.

That’s a wrap for my August favorites! I hope you guys enjoyed and if you have any questions or comments about any of the items on today’s post, please feel free to drop a comment down below and I will reply as soon as I am able to. As always, have a fantastic week and I will see you all next time~!

Thanks for Reading~! ❤

【HSANHE Korilakkuma RELAXED BEAR】Unboxing & Assemble + Video

Well, hello there.

Last week I went ahead and bought my first Micro Block project from a local Korean store that I’ve mentioned here on the blog before and it was definitely a challenge.

I’m not very familiar with building things aside from perler bead designs but this was too cute not to build and I though it would make a fun post and video combo. (ꐦ ´͈ ᗨ `͈ )

KORILAKKUMA

For those of you unaware; I love Korilakkuma and I love tea/coffee so Korilakkuma in a coffee cup was the most adorable thing I’ve seen and I immediately needed it in my life whether or not I had to build it. UNFORTUNATELY, I decided this would be a great idea to start building late at night…with an 8GB memory card and half battery life on my camera. So, my video was kind of split into two days. (ꐦ°᷄д°᷅)

BLARGH

Anyways, the box comes with 308 super tiny micro blocks, a stand, and a tool to help pull apart blocks when they’re difficult or in tight spaces. It also comes with instructions that are kind of like IKEA except SO MUCH MORE TINIER. But after you get the main foundation of the bear and cup together, it becomes much easier.

Overall, this project took me about 2 hours maybe? I didn’t exactly keep track of time but it didn’t take quite as long as I had imagined.

I will be buying another set to film this weekend…maybe I’ll go with a Crayon Shin-Chan set? ʕ ͠° ʖ̫ °͠ ʔ

I hope you guys enjoy the video and blog post!
