Hello to you all!
Yes, in case you can’t read the title or didn’t read my last post…I have been in talks with Geoff Ramsey (and Griffon…and Gavin) from Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunters and although we have a lot of ideas floating around, I don’t want to spill too many details until everything is set in stone. But, I am so thankful that Geoff gave me the opportunity to interview him for you all! They have been so much help when it comes to promoting and even helping me figure out how to use my YT channel efficiently. So, before I share the interview with you all…I have a few shout outs:
Many many many many thanks to Geoff and Griffon Ramsey and their adorable daughter, Millie. You all have been so encouraging and awesome to talk to and I hope we get a chance to meet real soon so I can thank you in person…and possibly play video games with you. T’would be awesome, yeah?
To my coworker, Chris: THANK YOU. For answering all my questions, for helping Geoff and I talk when we are working, and for all the help you’ve been when it came to questions about technical stuff that I am clueless about. The team at Rooster Teeth love you btw. Just saying…
To the entire team of Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunters…Geoff had mentioned you all throughout our emails and you all sound so awesome! I hope this interview does each and every one of you justice because the work you’ve done is beyond amazing. Thanks for being so awesome.

Taylor Rae: How would you describe Rooster Teeth and Achievement Hunters to those visiting or hearing about it for the first time?
Geoff Ramsey: People were laughing and busting guts and that’s what we aim for, to provide entertainment and comedy. Those who visit [the Rooster Teeth headquarters] get to see how we work and where we work. Their expressions is that jaw-dropping.
Taylor Rae: When was RT and AH created and how did you build it to what it is today?
Geoff Ramsey: We started on April 1, 2003. We were just five guys playing Halo Combat Evolved and from there we figured we should do a show called “Red versus Blue”. Honestly so much fun, we didn’t have what we have now. So basic recordings and old schooled it. [Because] we got so many views and likes and subscribers, we just kept going.
Taylor Rae: You had mentioned RT’s involvement in charity work; Can you give us a few examples of what you’ve done so far?
Geoff Ramsey: Well [we did] charity to help local fire fighters, and so many others. I honestly don’t run that; someone else does.
Taylor Rae: Any future events, plans for expansion, collaborations, or appearances you’d like us to know about?
Geoff Ramsey: Honestly, we’ve gotten far; We had a 10 year anniversary not long ago and a 100th episode on Minecraft and so much. We have a big office in Austin, Texas and we’ve done so much to achieve what we have now. We are quite successful and so many people who follow us and loyal to the end. This sh*t is happening. And appearances: We have a thing called RTX and we do a lot of signings, Q&A and other stuff..I forget. Bare with me..haha.
Taylor Rae: Were there any points in the history of RT or AH where you felt that success was unattainable? If so, how did you overcome it?
Geoff Ramsey: Damn, there were times we started to think “how are we gonna do this? Is it gonna work?” Man I tell you..there been moments where sh*t seem to fall apart and we didn’t know if it was gonna work. But the more we believe in ourselves and the more we pushed our goals, f*ck we did it!
Taylor Rae: Where do you see RT and AH within five years?
Geoff Ramsey: Five years from now? The same place as I am now, duh! Playing video games for a living is pretty much it. And just f*cking having fun with my workers (friends and morons) and keeping the fans happy and enjoying our stuff.
Taylor Rae: What are you E3 plans for this year and what games are you looking forward to hearing about?
Geoff Ramsey: Sh*t, no clue. I don’t do the planning for that crazy stuff, but I will tell you…I’m pretty happy with Titanfall and now playing Watch-Dogs. God, so many games I’m looking forward too I about to sh*t my pants!
Taylor Rae: Finally, what is your favorite game and why?
Geoff Ramsey: Favorite game [is] Halo…and some others. And why? It was a great game when it first came out on Xbox…sh*t was fun as hell and crazy. And now it led us here to Rooster Teeth.
From Geoff to Our Readers: Well, that’s what I got. We had so many fun years and still going. You tell everyone to keep following us and happy gaming. And thanks for all that support.
Well, there you have it everyone! Once again, a huge thank you to Geoff, Griffon, and Chris and the entire RT & AH team! I wish many more years of success and awesome and PLEASE UPLOAD ANOTHER PROP HUNT VIDEO OR SMASH BROS WHEN IT RELEASES. *Please.
